Find the Top 25 Fiber Providers in FiberLocator

Last week, FierceTelecom published their list of the Top 25 Business Fiber Providers in the U.S.  Many of the names are familiar, big name providers, but there are also some that are regional or smaller sized carriers that you may not yet be familiar with. Of the 25 that FierceTelecom included, we’re excited to announce that 23 of them have their assets published in FiberLocator! Many of these carriers have multiple different data layers listed within FiberLocator, so you may be able to search for their metro routes, long haul routes, lit buildings, and data centers all within the same database. Here’s a sneak peak at the kind of data you’ll find from these top-level companies:

#1 AT&T: Cellular Data

AT&T is one of the biggest names in telecom, and is probably the first name that pops into people’s heads when they think of the subject. Their business faction offers wireless, internet and VOIP services, and they have a presence all over the country. You can find their wireless data offered as a premium layer in FiberLocator.

#3 CenturyLink: Metro Maps

CenturyLink Business has customizable plans that can fit any size business, from 10 employees to 10,000. They offer Internet, VOIP, and business applications for their smaller packages, and larger packages include managed IT and cloud. Their network covers 36 states, with a big presence in the Midwest and Southwest. To see a detailed coverage map from CenturyLink, make sure to check out their metro fiber map in FiberLocator.

#5 Windstream: Long-Haul Maps

Windstream is a Washington, D.C.-based provider that offers business services such as Internet, phone, data solutions and UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service). They also provide data center services throughout the Mid-Atlantic, out of their data centers in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Their service was the winner of the Internet Telephony 2015 Product of the Year by TMC, and the Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award in 2016. To see how their coverage compares to other carriers, make sure to check out their long-haul layer in the app.
