They will improve digital connectivity between the U.S., Japan, and multiple Pacific Island countries and territories.
Gigabit Infrastructure Act (GIA)
In Europe, the European Union’s Gigabit Infrastructure Act is part of the EU’s increased efforts to ensure that all European citizens have access to internet speeds of 1 gigabit per second by November 2025.
