July Data Updates

Summer is in full swing, which means new FiberLocator data updates. July was an exciting month so far for FiberLocator as we transitioned to our new parent company, CCMI. We currently have 327 unique carriers for fiber maps and 391 layers. Check out our data page for the most updated figures.

Carrier Spotlight:

This month’s focus is Unite Private Networks (UPN), headquartered in the Kansas City, MO metro area. UPN provides high-bandwidth, fiber-based communications networks and related services to schools, governments, carriers, data centers, hospitals, and enterprise business customers throughout the U.S. Service offerings include dark and lit fiber, private line, optical Ethernet, Internet access, data center services, and other customized solutions. UPN serves over 300 communities across 20 states, with over 7,600 metro fiber route miles, and 4,500 on-net buildings. UPN also has significant experience working with federal E-Rate program guidelines for K-12 school districts.

“OK. I’m addicted to your tool. It’s great. Is it perfect? No. However, I don’t know how others do their job without it. I just wanted to thank you and your team. I sincerely appreciate it. Have a great holiday…
