FiberLocator Issues Major Data Center Update

With new data center and colocation options being added to the market along with changes brought on by M&A, network planners and enterprises need a data resource that is staying on top of the locations available and overlaying them with the critical fiber infrastructure for a more complete picture.

Our recent FiberLocator data update pushed our database to another level! With 6,793 data center listings and 4,108 unique data center addresses, we’ve more than doubled the size of our database – providing our users with more information on the available data center and colocation facilities in nearly every major U.S. market.

We’re also excited to announce an update to our lit building address listings. The FiberLocator team added 12,463 lit building carrier records and 11,560 unique lit building addresses to our database since our last update in June, providing our users with more of the info they need. These updates were made possible by the addition of the following lit building lists:

  • Arvig
  • CTC
  • Digital West
  • Hudson Fiber

Our team also verified and updated lit building lists from the following providers:

The most recent update is never enough for the FiberLocator team. We’re always looking to add more data centers, lit buildings and map layers to our database. Contact Karen Wiens with carriers and lit building addresses you’d like to see in FiberLocator.
